| Confira os indicados ao Dove Awards 2010

Pra quem como eu curte música gospel da melhor qualidade, saiu um dia desses os indicados ao 41º GMA Dove Awards, a maior premiação da música cristã norte-americana. Jars of Clay e Skillet lideram com seis indicações cada e logo atrás vem Francesa Battistelli e Jason Crabb, com cinco cada um. A minha surpresa foi ver Casting Crows e Switchfoot terem somente 3 e 2 indicações, respectivamente. Ambos lançaram cds ótimos e mereciam um reconhecimento bem maior. Mesma coisa pra Jeremy Camp, com somente duas indicações. Third Day, que não lançou nada ano passado, além de um DVD, concorre pra Melhor DVD mesmo. rs

Nesse ano, a premiação acontecerá numa quarta, 21/04, no Grand Ole Opry House em Nashville e terá apresentação da cantora Natalie Grant e do vocalista da banda MercyMe, Bart Millard. Além disso, como sempre terão as apresentações ao vivo e até agora, já confirmaram Casting Crowns, TobyMac, além de Natalie Grant e MercyMe. Também será apresentada uma canção em homenagem ao Haiti, liderada por Michael W. Smith. Fora isso, logo logo serão asbertas as votações via internet para as categorias: Artista do Ano e Revelação.
